Lindenmere’s

All Choice Program

At Camp Lindenmere, it’s all about choice—your camper’s choice! Our program lets campers work with counselors to handpick activities, ensuring they dive into what excites them, from dynamic sports to creative and performing arts. While choice is key, there’s also a strong sense of structure, providing balance and support. Each day at Lindenmere is designed to be exciting, unique, and fun, where adventure, growth, and personal choice create unforgettable summer memories!

How it Works

Lindenmere campers choose all of their activities. Campers choose both Majors and Minors to construct their perfect day. With over 50+ activities to choose from and a team of dedicated specialty staff, we ensure the success and growth of all campers.

In a traditional camping setting, campers often participate in pre-selected activities with just the kids in their bunk. By choosing their own activities, campers quickly meet many other campers that share similar interests, while also forming strong bonds with their bunkmates. This helps our campers develop higher numbers of friendships and creates a strong atmosphere of community.

Our counselors are equally invested in our All-Choice program. They know that each camper has chosen to be in their activity area, and our counselors enjoy teaching campers who are looking to achieve their goals, and mentor them in their respective activities throughout their time at camp.

Majors

At Lindenmere, campers choose three Majors before each session, engaging in daily, goal-oriented activities led by our expert department heads. These Majors are designed to be instructional and skill-focused, giving campers the opportunity to grow and develop in their chosen areas. If a camper discovers a new passion during their time at camp, they can switch Majors with the help of our Programming Team.

Minors

Campers choose three Minors daily before breakfast by filling out a Minor Sheet passed around by their counselors. These Minors allow campers the freedom to explore new activities, try out different skills, and experience all that Lindenmere has to offer. It’s all about giving campers the control to design their own fun-filled, structured day!

Youngest Campers

For our youngest campers, General Counselors are hired to help guide them throughout each day. The counselors are chosen based upon their nurturing nature and patience. Throughout the day, our general counselors will be checking in on their campers to make sure they are enjoying their schedule, friends, and experience at Lindenmere! Leadership Training

Campers entering 11th grade are eligible to participate in our LT program. This program is designed to develop future camp leaders within our community and at home, too. There are many special aspects to the program that our campers look forward to as they get older. Some of these include: a multi-overnight LT trip, a big brother/sister program, optional SAT tutoring, on the job counselor training in their favorite activity areas, and much more. LT’s will still live in a bunk with other campers their age during the summer.
