Six years ago, I arrived for my first summer at Camp Lindenmere. I was 10 years old and a shy and nervous little kid. I remember a counselor named Santi greeting me and immediately making me feel at ease and happy in my summer home. By the time it was free play, I was ecstatic because I had already passed my swim test and had found friends. Three years later my sister Hailey joined me at camp. I watched with happiness as she too had Camp Lindenmere become her summer home. Now as I enter my sixth summer having experienced all of what camp has to offer- I have memories and friends that I know will last a lifetime.
