Most Popular Questions about the Daily Schedule

How long is camp?

Campers can either stay for Session 1 (4 weeks), Session 2 (3 weeks) or the Full Summer (7 weeks). You can find out more about our Sessions here!

What are Majors and Minors

Majors are the three activities campers focus on each morning, with an emphasis on high-level instruction and skill development. Campers track their progress throughout the summer and practice for their Visiting Day shows.

Minors are three slightly shorter afternoon activities that campers choose each day. Minors give campers the opportunity to discover new activities, explore different interests, and develop new passions. They are selected during Rest Hour the day before!

Are meals all together as a full camp?

We have a brand-new, state-of-the-art Dining Hall where campers enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. Our Junior campers (rising 2nd-5th grade) head to meals 15 minutes before the rest of camp, giving them extra time to get their food and settle in. Campers sit with their bunks during mealtimes, making it a great opportunity to catch up, share stories, and talk about their day with their bunkmates!

What is Rest Hour?

Rest Hour follows lunch and gives campers time to head back to their bunks, relax, and recharge with their bunkmates before a busy afternoon. Campers often spend this time reading, playing games, or simply taking a break. All of our bunks at Lindenmere have central air conditioning, making it the perfect time to cool off and get refreshed for the afternoon!

What are Evening Activities?

After a full day of activities, campers gather for a special evening program that brings everyone together for a different kind of fun. These activities can either be Full Camp or split by Division. Depending on the night, it might be a campfire, talent show, WANTED, Casino Night, or another awesome camp tradition. It’s a chance to laugh, cheer each other on, and make memories with friends before Canteen and bedtime.

What is Canteen?

After evening activities, campers head to Canteen for a snack and some time to hang out with friends before bed. They can enjoy popcorn, healthy treats, or ice cream, listen to music, play table tennis, foosball, or video games, and spend time relaxing on the outdoor patio. Canteen is the perfect way to end the day, giving campers one last chance to enjoy time with friends before heading back to their bunks for bedtime!

Junior campers (rising 2nd-5th graders) will head to Canteen before Evening Activity, giving them a chance to spend some extra time with their Division and enjoy the fun of camp together! After hanging out with their friends, campers will head off to an exciting evening activity. After, it’s time to head back to their bunks for bedtime. This schedule gives Junior campers the best of both worlds: plenty of time to enjoy Canteen while still getting to bed at a good time so they can wake up refreshed, recharged, and ready for another amazing day at camp!
